Shawna Ervin is an accomplished writer and editor with extensive experience in the literary field, having published poems and personal essays in various literary journals since 2013. Ervin founded Ervin Communications, providing public relations and marketing services to a diverse clientele from 2004 to 2011. Additionally, Ervin served as a proofreader and editor for Northstar Knowledge, enhancing documents to support business growth. Earlier experience includes working as a reporter and editor for Colorado Community Newspapers from 1997 to 2004. Educationally, Ervin holds a Master of Fine Arts in Nonfiction and Poetry from Pacific Lutheran University and has completed a two-year mentoring program in Memoir, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Denver and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Coe College.
