Rass Tolstrup is a seasoned marine engineer with extensive experience in the yachting and maritime industry, currently serving as Chief Engineer on a 109m yacht for Wright Maritime Group since March 2018, contributing to the new build project Y720 at Oceanco. Previously held roles include Chief Engineer on an 86m private yacht, as well as 2nd Engineer and Chief Engineer at Schmidt Ocean Institute, overseeing daily engine room operations and maintenance strategies. Rass's career began with A.P. Møller - Mærsk, where work involved dual roles as a marine engineer and navigator on larger container ships. Rass holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering from SIMAC and has gained diverse experiences, including a brief tenure in web design and as a hotline advisor, showcasing a multifaceted skill set within and beyond marine engineering.
