Aparna Vijaykumar is a Senior Manager at WRI India, managing the NDC-Transport Initiative for Asia, coordinating research activities, and leading outreach with various stakeholders. Previous roles include managing the TUMI Electric Bus Mission, where Aparna established key relationships to further electric bus implementation throughout India and contributed significantly to the National Electric Bus Program. Aparna has also developed a Total Cost of Ownership Tool and worked on road safety initiatives as part of the Bloomberg Road Safety Initiative. Educational qualifications comprise a Master’s Degree in Urban Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from NSS College of Engineering, Palakkad.
