Shruti D. is currently the Director of Corporate Affairs at Systemiq Ltd. since January 2024 and serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees for WRAP since July 2023. Previously, Shruti held the position of Chief Communications Officer at The Global Steering Group for Impact Investment until December 2023 and served as the Global Director of Strategic Communications at C40 Cities from August 2021 to July 2023. Shruti’s diplomatic experience includes roles as First Secretary at the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (2017-2021), where responsibilities included heading Communications & Public Diplomacy and managing COP26 Partnerships. Earlier career roles include strategic communications at 10 Downing Street, Press Secretary to the Minister for Trade in the UK Civil Service, and a Press Officer focusing on international issues within the Department of Energy and Climate Change. Shruti began a career in communications as a consultant at Hanover Communications after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics & Politics at the University of Essex.
