Rob Surgeoner serves as the Travel and Events Director for Wounded Warrior Project since August 2015, having previously held the role of Travel and Events Manager. Prior experience includes the position of Director - Passenger Operations at CSX Transportation, overseeing the operation of 150 daily trains and achieving $5 million in performance incentives. As Director - Airport Operations at Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Rob managed a $4 million budget and conducted 370,000 flight operations with a focus on safety. Additionally, Rob directed air operations for the Commander, Naval Air Force Atlantic and provided program assessments at the National Reconnaissance Office. Rob's military career includes service as a Naval Flight Officer and a leader within the Blue Angels, where responsibilities included developing annual show schedules and managing logistics for air demonstrations. Educational qualifications comprise a Bachelor of Science from Penn State University and a Master of Aeronautical Science with Distinction from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, among other military-focused studies.
