Bill McGovern is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in veteran support services and healthcare outreach. Currently serving as a Team Lead at the Wounded Warrior Project since May 2018, McGovern manages a team focused on outreach, career coaching, mental health, and legal assistance, while also establishing development and DEI programs for disabled veterans in the Southwestern United States. Prior roles include Outreach Coordinator at UCLA Health, where McGovern built brand recognition and improved patient onboarding processes for a program serving post-9/11 veterans, and President of Operation Education, Inc., where McGovern founded a non-profit organization aiding student veterans. McGovern's military background as an Infantryman and Squad Leader in the United States Marine Corps further complements a strong academic foundation, including a Master of Business Administration from UCLA Anderson School of Management and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Loyola Marymount University.
