Pastor James Chambers serves as an Elder/Pastor at Grounds for Belief Community Church, a position held since December 2021, where ministry leadership is shared with other elders. Concurrently, Pastor Chambers is an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at Worship Arts Conservatory, teaching various Bible classes since December 2020. In addition to pastoral roles, Pastor Chambers is the Maintenance Custodial Supervisor at Conner Creek Academy East/Michigan Collegiate Middle/High School since June 2018. A retired Master-At-Arms First Class from the US Naval Reserves, service included senior leadership of operations for anti-terrorism and force protection. Previous roles also include Dispatcher/Funeral Assistant at Dignity Memorial and Federal Law Enforcement Police Officer for the US Government at Detroit Arsenal. Academic credentials include a Master of Divinity from Moody Theological Seminary, a Bachelor of Science in Bible/Biblical Studies & Counseling from Rochester University, and an Associate's degree in General Studies & Law Enforcement from Macomb Community College.
