Chris Humphries CBE has extensive experience in leadership roles across various educational and skills organizations. Currently serving as Pro Chancellor and Chairman of the Board of Governors at the University of West London since January 2010, Chris also holds the position of President and Chair of the Board at WorldSkills International since August 2019. Previously, Chris was the Founding CEO of the UK Commission for Employment & Skills from October 2007 to December 2010, and has held director general roles at City & Guilds and the British Chambers of Commerce. Chris's career began in education sales and marketing at Acorn Computers and included significant positions at the National Council for Educational Technology. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from the University of New South Wales, earned from 1965 to 1973.
