Yi Zheng began their work experience in 2006 as an Intern of QSI at Credit Suisse. Yi then joined WorldQuant LLC in 2008 as a Data Specialist and worked in that role until 2010. From 2010 to 2012, they served as a Quantitative Developer at WorldQuant LLC. Finally, they were promoted to the position of VP, Quantitative Developer at WorldQuant LLC in August 2012.

Yi Zheng received a Ph.D. in Experimental High Energy Physics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where they studied from 2001 to 2007. Prior to that, they obtained a B.S. in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China, where they attended from 1996 to 2001.
