Thomas Furtado has been working in the communications and marketing fields since 2014. In that year, they began an internship at Rádio Inova FM, where they edited, produced and provided locution for a radio journal and an entertainment program. Theirwork resulted in the idealization of the entertainment program that continues until today, with a real increase in the radio audience. Thomas then interned at Prefeitura Municipal de Lorena in 2015, where they worked with the Press Office, conducting interviews, writing press releases, managing crises, and handling news and social media. This work resulted in the mayor's rapprochement with the residents and, consequently, the re-election of the mayor of the city. In 2016, Thomas Furtado worked at Maison Merci as a Marketing Analyst in the marketing department of a multi-brand store. Theirwork included audiovisual content creation, public relations, visual programming, marketing strategies, and collection and style management. This resulted in the idealization of the store's visual identity, consolidating the brand in the region and developing a new relationship concept and products that didn’t exist in the region. That same year, they also interned at TV Aparecida in the department of accessibility, where they worked with production of Closed Caption and new ways of approaching inclusion tools within the broadcaster. This resulted in the improvement of the dissemination of accessibility tools on TV social networks. In 2018, Thomas Furtado worked at Convention & Visitors Bureau as a Communication Coordinator in the communication department. Theirwork included design, press office, public relations, marketing, events, social media, press releases, email marketing, mailing, analytics, and crisis management. This resulted in loyalty and approximation of associates to the organization, as well as better visibility of the destination in the mass media. That same year, they also worked at Fenix Madeiras as a Communication Analyst in the communication department. Theirwork included arts creation, public relations, marketing, social media, email marketing, mailing, analytics, crisis management, and creation of interior design projects. This resulted in an 80% increase in the number of new clients, improved workflow and team relationship, increased visibility and improved presentation of executed projects, creation of loyalty program with architects and contractors, increase of 400% of followers in Instagram, 13% increase in engagement of publications in Instagram, and 867% of Facebook engagement. In 2021, Thomas Furtado began working at Wou Marketing as a Redator, Social Media, Designer in the marketing department. Theirwork included redaction for blogs, texts for posts, content planning, and creation of arts for social media. This resulted in the loyalty and approximation of clients to the agency, improved workflow and relationship, and increased engagement and conversion. Currently, Thomas Furtado is working at Worldpackers as a Social Media Manager.
Thomas Furtado has a diverse educational background. From 2013 to 2016, they earned a Bachelor Degree in Journalism from UNIFATEA - Centro Universitário Teresa D'Ávila. In 2020, they completed a Pós-graduação Lato Sensu in Gestão da Comunicação Digital e Mídias Sociais from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing and Rock Content.
