Juan Sève is a highly experienced professional in forestry and natural resource management with a career spanning over four decades. Currently self-employed and semi-retired, Juan Sève has held several significant roles, including serving as Chief of Party for the CAFEC Program at WWF US, focusing on the preservation of Congo Basin forests funded by USAID. Previously, Juan Sève managed WWF operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo, supporting national conservation strategies and managing key protected areas. Experience includes a senior management role at International Resources Group, where Juan Sève developed and executed development projects, and earlier work as a Planning Coordinator at the Container Corporation of America. Educational qualifications include an MS and PhD candidacy in Forestry and Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
