Giavanna Grein

Lead Specialist, Wildlife at World Wildlife Fund

Giavanna Grein is a highly experienced professional in wildlife conservation, currently serving as the Lead Specialist for Wildlife at the World Wildlife Fund since August 2013. In this role, Giavanna identifies and implements strategic partnerships with the private sector to enhance wildlife conservation efforts. Previous positions within WWF include Senior Program Officer for TRAFFIC and Wildlife Crime, where Giavanna managed the Coalition to End Wildlife Trafficking Online, and various roles focused on collaboration with tech companies to combat wildlife trafficking. In addition to conservation work, Giavanna is a self-employed children's book author, with titles including "When Nilly Met Nelly, the Hungry Hungry Ele" and "Make Herstory." Giavanna holds a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from American University and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science and Studies from Towson University.
