Doaa Abdel Motaal is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in agricultural and environmental policy, currently serving as a Senior Counsellor at the World Trade Organization since September 2019. Expertise includes managing relations with international stakeholders and organizations such as the OECD and World Bank. Previous roles include serving as Executive Director for the Rockefeller Foundation Economic Council on Planetary Health and conducting an independent assessment for the World Food Programme. Doaa has also held significant positions within the International Fund for Agricultural Development and the WTO, as well as contributing to notable environmental projects in Egypt. Academic credentials include a PhD in Development Economics from the University of Geneva and an M.Phil. in Environmental Studies from the University of Cambridge.
