Chiara Azzarelli is a Junior Research Economist at the World Trade Organization since February 2023, contributing to the Trade Monitor Section by researching data, managing databases, analyzing trade policies, and assisting in report drafting. Previously, Chiara served as a Junior Research Assistant at the same organization, where similar responsibilities were undertaken. Additional experience includes a role as Community and Communication Manager at European Guanxi, focusing on youth empowerment in EU-China relations, and a Statistics Intern position at the World Trade Organization. Chiara has also contributed as a Student Consultant for the FAO, worked with migrant children at Consorzio Passepartout, engaged in international volunteering in Tanzania, and participated as an event committee board member for the China and East Asia Studies Initiative. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Development from the Geneva Graduate Institute and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore.
