Carlo M. Cantore has extensive work experience in the field of international trade and law. Carlo M. began their career as an intern at the World Trade Organization in 2013. Following this, they worked as a Blue Book Trainee at the European Commission in 2014. In 2015, Carlo joined Van Bael & Bellis as an Associate specializing in Trade & Customs. Carlo M. worked there until 2018 when they transitioned to the World Trade Organization as a Dispute Settlement Lawyer in the Rules Division. In 2019, they moved within the same organization to the Legal Affairs Division. Carlo also worked as a Lecturer in International Trade and Investment Law at the University of Antwerp from 2017 to 2021. Most recently, they served as a Lecturer in WTO Law and EU External Relations Law at the Université de Neuchâtel from February to July 2022.

Carlo M. Cantore's education history is as follows:

Carlo obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in International Trade Law from the European University Institute. Carlo M. attended this institute from 2012 to 2015. Prior to their PhD, they completed a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in International Trade Law at the same university, from 2011 to 2012.

Carlo also holds a Master's degree (Allievo ordinario - Diploma di licenza specialistica) in Law from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna. Carlo M. studied at this institution from 2005 to 2010. Alongside this program, they pursued a Law Degree from the Università di Pisa, completing it within the same time frame.

In 2009, Carlo participated in an Erasmus program at the Université de Neuchâtel, where they focused on WTO Law and EU External Relations Law.

Additionally, Carlo has obtained the certification of Avvocato, which qualifies him to practice law in Italy. This certification was obtained from the Corte d'Appello di Firenze. The specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
