Min-Kyung Park has extensive experience in the field of veterinary science and public health, currently serving as the Head of the Status Department at the World Organisation for Animal Health (OIE) since August 2013, where responsibilities include assisting Member Countries with the evaluation of disease status for various animal diseases and supporting international trade links between OIE and WTO. Prior roles at OIE included Deputy Head of Status Department and Chargée de mission, as well as an internship that involved reviewing annual reports and organizing a significant global conference. Earlier experience includes laboratory positions focused on monoclonal antibody production and protein-DNA interactions at Washington State University. Min-Kyung Park holds a Master of Arts in Public Policy and Management from the University of York, a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Zoology from the same institution.
