Geetika Shankar is an experienced public health professional with a current role as Surveillance Medical Officer at the World Health Organization since November 2018. In addition, Geetika serves as State Program Coordinator at Hindustan Latex Family Planning Promotion Trust since May 2016 and is pursuing a Master of Public Health in Social Epidemiology at the School of Health Systems Studies, Tata Institute of Social Sciences since June 2011. Previous positions include District MNCH Consultant at UNICEF from August 2013 to April 2016, Project Coordinator for Research and Evaluation at TRIOs Development Support Pvt Ltd for a brief period in 2013, and several internships at notable organizations. Geetika holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Rungta College of Dental Sciences and Research (2005-2010).
