Vít Syrovátka has a diverse work experience in both the technology and research fields. Vít started their career in 2009 as a Researcher at T.G.Masaryk Water Research Institute, where they worked until 2014. Vít then joined Masaryk University Brno as a Research Assistant, where they worked for a decade from June 2010 to January 2020. In 2020, Vít became self-employed and took on the role of an Unemployed individual from February to July 2020. Vít then joined Whys as a Back End Developer in July 2020 and worked there until April 2021. Currently, Vít is working as a Back End Developer at World from Space since April 2021.

Vít Syrovátka earned a Master's degree in Zoology/Animal Biology from Masaryk University Brno, where they studied from 1999 to 2004. Vít later pursued a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Hydrobiology at the same university from 2004 to 2009.
