Kimberly Bowman has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Kimberly has held positions in various organizations, including World Education Services, where they worked as Associate Director - Planning, Learning & Evaluation and Senior Manager, Planning & Evaluation. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant for Independent & with Partners. Kimberly also served as a Senior Projects Manager at The Brookfield Institute for Innovation + Entrepreneurship. Additionally, Kimberly has a background in the non-profit sector, having worked as the Director of Strategy for Girl Guides of Canada and in various roles at Oxfam, including Business Strategy Lead, Team Manager - Programme Quality, Global Adviser - Gender and MEL, Senior Adviser - Performance & Effectiveness, Global Advisor - Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning, and Learning & Accountability Adviser. Before joining Oxfam, Kimberly worked as a Volunteer Recruitment & Marketing Advisor at CUSO-VSO and as a Public Engagement and Communications Officer at VSO Canada. Kimberly also held the position of Director, Outreach at Engineers Without Borders Canada.

Kimberly Bowman has an educational background that includes a MSc in Social Research Methods from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) which they completed from 2011 to 2013. Kimberly also completed a Strategic Leadership Programme at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2017. Additionally, they hold a B.A. from McGill University, where they studied International Development, Political Science, and Canadian Studies from 2002 to 2006. Currently, they are pursuing a Masters of Environment and Business at the University of Waterloo, which they expect to complete between 2022 and 2025. Kimberly has also obtained a certification in Remote Work Foundations from LinkedIn in 2022.
