Vivian Brady-Phillips serves as the Head of Strategic Initiatives for Urban Transformation at the World Economic Forum since March 2023. Prior to this role, Vivian was the Executive Director and Interim Executive Director of the Jersey City Housing Authority from February 2018 to March 2023 and served as Deputy Mayor for the City of Jersey City from August 2013 to February 2018. Earlier in Vivian's career, important positions included Executive Vice President for External & Legal Affairs and Chief of Staff at the NYC Leadership Academy, Litigation Associate roles at multiple law firms including Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP and Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP, and Law Clerk for Honorable William H. Walls, U.S. District Court Judge. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law, a B.A. in Political Science and English from Hunter College, and various certificates in leadership and real estate development.
