Shashwat Kansal is a Forward Deployed Software Engineer at Palantir Technologies, focusing on projects for the UK Government since September 2023. Concurrently, Shashwat serves as a Fellow at baby vc and Co-Founder of Unison Social, as well as an Impact Officer for the London Hub III of the World Economic Forum. Previous experience includes roles as a Programming Tutor at Imperial College London and various software engineering internships at Google and Amazon, where contributions were made to Google Cloud and Alexa AI, respectively. Shashwat was part of the Olam Ventures cohort in 2022, receiving significant startup funding and mentorship, and completed a STEP internship at Google in 2021. Shashwat holds a Master of Engineering degree in Computer Science, specializing in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, from Imperial College London, where studies were undertaken from 2019 to 2023.
