Hernando Durán Cabrera is an experienced professional with a diverse background in leadership and academia. Currently serving as the Director of Tijuana Verde Tijuana Innovadora and the President of Iniciativa Río Tijuana AC, Hernando also holds the position of Associate Professor at Universidad Iberoamericana Tijuana and leads the Design to Action Network for World Design Capital San Diego Tijuana 2024. Additionally, Hernando operates as a consultant through Socio Frontera Norte Consultores. Hernando completed an Engineer's Degree in Industrial Engineering and Systems at TECNOLÓGICO DE MONTERREY Campus Monterrey from 1977 to 1981.
