Katharina Fenz has extensive experience in data science and academia, currently serving as the Deputy VP of Data and Lead Data Scientist at World Data Lab since May 2016. In addition, Fenz has been a lecturer for Data Science and Machine Learning as well as Advanced Macroeconomics at WU (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien) from October 2019 to September 2024. Previous roles at WU include research assistant and tutor. Fenz holds a Ph.D. in Economics, an MSc in Economics, and a BSc in Economics from WU, along with a Bachelor in Psychotherapy from Sigmund Freud PrivatUniversität Wien.
