Karen Shaw is an accomplished financial professional with extensive experience in finance and audit. Currently serving as the Group Financial Controller at Johnstons of Elgin since June 2021, Karen manages all finance functions and leads the Business Analysis team. Additionally, Karen has worked as an Expedition Leader for World Challenge, guiding school expeditions in Uganda, Swaziland, and Borneo. Previous roles include Senior Manager - Accounts and Audit at Saffery Champness and various managerial positions at EY, where Karen oversaw a portfolio of FTSE and AIM listed clients. Karen's career began at the National Audit Office as an Audit Principal, following training as an ACA. An LLB (Hons) graduate from the University of Glasgow, Karen is currently pursuing an Executive MBA at the University of Strathclyde.
