Tamar Nutsubidze is an experienced international legal consultant with a strong focus on digital development and telecommunications sectors. Currently employed at The World Bank since August 2018, Tamar has worked on numerous high-impact projects in countries such as Sri Lanka, Nepal, and various Eastern Caribbean nations, leading reforms in electronic communications and broadband infrastructure. Tamar has also contributed to the digital economy in Georgia through roles at PMCG and the International Centre for Migration Policy Development. Earlier career experience includes significant legal expertise in public-private partnerships, particularly within the energy sector, with notable engagements at Begiashvili & Company and the Asian Development Bank. Tamar holds a graduate degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Policy of Science, Technology, and Innovation, as well as Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Law from Tbilisi State University.
