Maka Borja has extensive experience in project coordination and operations management within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Operations Project Coordinator at Workstrings International since December 2019, Maka is responsible for implementing operational plans, monitoring project performance, and resolving issues to ensure timely project completion. Prior to this role, Maka worked at National Oilwell Varco in various capacities, including International Project Coordinator and Special Project Coordinator, where responsibilities encompassed coordinating projects related to offshore and onshore oil and gas equipment and applying Project Management Professional (PMP) principles. Additional experience includes serving as an Offshore Oil & Gas Technician and a Petty Officer Second Class in the US Navy, where Maka was recognized with multiple achievements for quality assurance and leadership. Education was completed at John F. Kennedy High School with a high school diploma in General Studies.
