Carl Baker has extensive experience in health and safety, currently serving as General Inspectorate Manager at WorkSafe New Zealand since May 2015, after progressing from roles as Senior Inspector and H&S Inspector. Prior to this, Carl Baker worked with the New Zealand Defence Force as a Royal New Zealand Engineer from August 1995 to November 2009. Carl Baker attended Newlands College from 1991 to 1995, where no formal degree was obtained, but foundational knowledge in health and safety was established.
