Carolyn Beaver is the current Director at Working Wardrobes. Prior to this, they served as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Sequenom from June 2012 to October 2016. Carolyn was responsible for investor relations, finance and accounting, billing, information technology, human resources, procurement and facilities. Sequenom was acquired by LabCorp in September 2016, for a total price of $371 million.
From August 2005 to June 2012, Carolyn Beaver was Corporate Vice President, Controller and Chief Accounting Officer at Beckman Coulter, Inc. Carolyn was responsible for the global accounting organization for approximately $4 billion diagnostics and life sciences business. Following their acquisition by Danaher, they led the finance team through the integration, including reduction of the finance headcount by 30% and transition to Danaher's financial reporting requirements, including a 4 day close.
Carolyn Beaver has also served on the board of directors for MediciNova, Inc. and Organovo Holdings, Inc.
Carolyn Beaver has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting from California State Polytechnic University. Carolyn also has a certification from California in CPA (inactive).
