Joyce Tan, PhD, serves as the Director of Design and previously held titles including Director for Digital Experience in Career Services and Deputy Director at Workforce Singapore since January 2016. In this role, Joyce focuses on enhancing organisational data analytics to drive business outcomes within the employment facilitation sector, applying insights from data and behavioural science to innovate career development practices. Prior experience includes serving as Assistant Director at the Institute for Adult Learning Singapore, where Joyce addressed skills gaps among local trainers and developed a national workplace literacy strategy. Additional roles include Education Advisor at Singapore Polytechnic, managing curriculum and training development, and Curriculum Planning Officer at the Ministry of Education, where Joyce contributed to the national curriculum implementation for English Language education. Joyce holds a PhD in Education from IOE - UCL's Faculty of Education and Society and has completed executive training at INSEAD, alongside an MA in Applied Linguistics and a PGDE in Education.
