Dr. Greaney transitioned from his long-standing role as President and CEO of WorkCare to become Executive Chairman in October 2018. He continues to serve as the company’s Chief Medical Officer.

Since transitioning to his new role, Dr. Greaney has been investigating the application of artificial intelligence in health care delivery systems and related industries. He remains actively involved in WorkCare business development, client relations, thought leadership and physician oversight.

Dr. Greaney founded WorkCare, Inc., in 1984 as a national occupational health consulting company while successfully operating a busy occupational medicine practice for many years in Anaheim, Calif.

He is board-certified in occupational medicine and board-eligible in toxicology. He earned his Medical Degree in Ireland and completed his occupational medicine residency at the University of California Southern Occupational Health Center, Irvine, Calif.

Dr. Greaney prides himself on analyzing global trends to deliver practical, integrated employee health management solutions on the front lines. His willingness to be innovative – even disruptive – sets him and his company apart. Dr. Greaney aims to produce positive outcomes for employees, employers and society.
