Joanne Canavan is an accomplished HR professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Head of HR - IT at Woolworths Group since September 2017, Joanne previously held the position of Associate Director at Optus, where responsibilities included being an Executive Human Resources Business Partner for approximately 1400 employees. Prior experience includes leading Human Resources for Asia Pacific at Aon Benfield, managing HR change initiatives at IAG, and working on HR projects at AMP. Joanne's career began at Westpac Banking Corporation, where a range of HR positions were held over 12 years. Joanne holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Southern Cross University.
