Daphne Hiew is an accomplished privacy and cyber risk governance professional with extensive experience in various high-profile roles. Currently serving as Head of Privacy Governance at Woolworths Group since May 2022, Daphne previously held positions such as Director of Cyber Risk and Governance at the Department of Transport, Information Security & Privacy Officer at Nous Group, and Senior Privacy Lead/Group Privacy Technology Manager at Telstra. Key achievements include authoring the inaugural Telstra Yearly Threat Report and managing a company-wide cybersecurity awareness campaign. With a strong educational background including an MBA, Bachelor of Laws, and Bachelor of Arts from Monash University, Daphne has also contributed to the Department of Defence in various capacities, enhancing awareness and compliance within the cybersecurity landscape.
