Yaneev Golombek, Ph.D., PMP, GISP, is an experienced project manager currently working at Woolpert since November 2022, with a strong background in GIS and remote sensing projects across various sectors including utilities, transportation, and aviation. Prior to this role, Yaneev served as GIS Projects and Applications Manager at Merrick & Company from October 2005 to November 2022, overseeing significant project budgets and schedules. Academic background includes a PhD in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado, an MS in Geographic Information Science from the University of Denver, and a BS in Environmental Science from the University of Michigan. Yaneev's earlier roles include research assistantships and internships where expertise in GIS database management, LiDAR processing, and environmental program coordination was developed.
