Hai-Trieu Phan is a seasoned professional in the field of life and biomolecular sciences, currently serving as a Senior Lab Officer at Woolcock Institute of Medical Research since November 2022. Previously, Hai-Trieu worked as a Lecturer at Van Lang Education Group and held the position of Senior Research Assistant at Oxford University Clinical Research Unit for eight years, where a PhD project focused on the ecology and pathogenicity of the fungal pathogen Cryptococcus neoformans was conducted. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Life Sciences from The Open University and a Master's degree in Biology from the University of Leeds, along with a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology from the University of Science in Ho Chi Minh City. Prior experience also includes serving as Head of Laboratories at Tra Vinh University, overseeing laboratory operations in alignment with ISO 17025 standards.
