Matt Holmes is an experienced soccer coach and director with a robust career spanning multiple prestigious organizations. Currently serving as the Director of Soccer at Woodward Academy since July 2008, Matt leads a comprehensive player development academy for K-12 athletes, focusing on advanced training techniques and college recruiting. Previous roles include Managing Director and Technical Director of Coaching at Rush Soccer, Head Coach for Georgia's Olympic Development Program, and multiple coaching positions across various clubs, including Chiefs FC and Inter Atlanta FC. Notably, Matt has guided numerous players to collegiate soccer success, including NCAA Division I programs. A well-educated professional, Matt holds multiple coaching diplomas, including a Premier Diploma from United Soccer Coaches and a USSF B License, along with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Management and Business Administration from Methodist University.
