Loretta McKinney has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Loretta started their career in 1980 as a Commercial/ Personal Loan Processor at Wells Fargo Financial and worked there until 1985. Loretta then joined JPMorgan Chase as a Commercial Loan Administrator and worked there for ten years. In 2000, Loretta became a Franchise Owner for High Touch High Tech, Science Made Fun, operating in the Greater Southeast Texas region until 2005. Loretta then joined Oakwood Worldwide as an Accounts Payable/Receivable professional and worked there until 2012. Loretta then moved to JPMorgan Chase and served as a Mortgage Loan Processor for two years. Currently, they are working at Woodforest National Bank as a Compliance Monitoring Specialist, a position they have held since 2014.

Loretta McKinney attended Grambling State University from 1971 to 1972, where they studied Commercial Art. Loretta then transferred to Texas Southern University and pursued a degree in Commercial Art and Design from 1972 to 1975.
