Dr. M. Anne Fahrni earned her M.S. and Ph.D. in organic chemistry from Northwestern University under the tutelage of LyricaÃ’ inventor Professor Richard B. Silverman, in the area of neurological disease. Anne then began her professional career working in research and development of regenerative medicine, treatments for cancer and obesity, as well as working at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, where she conducted research involving virus proteomics.
