Bart Gajderowicz, PhD, has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Bart is currently the Executive Director at the Urban Data Centre at the University of Toronto, where they oversee the center's operations. In addition, they are a Research Fellow at the Centre for Social Services Engineering, also at the University of Toronto.

Prior to their current positions, Gajderowicz worked as an AI Consultant and later as a Senior Research Scientist (AI) at Wondeur Ai, where they focused on artificial intelligence projects. Bart also served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Toronto, where they conducted research on the simulation and planning of social services in a smart city context.

Gajderowicz has also worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Mitacs) at Lakehead University, conducting research in their field. Bart briefly worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Tata Consultancy Services before joining the University of Toronto as a PHD Candidate. During their PhD studies, they focused on artificial intelligence planning techniques for emulating agents in social services.

Prior to their academic and research roles, Gajderowicz gained industry experience as an Instructor/Teaching Assistant in Academia. Bart also worked as a Senior Software Developer at Influitive and served as the CTO and Founding Partner at Engagio.

Bart Gajderowicz, PhD, pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science at Ryerson University from 2002 to 2008. Following this, they obtained an MSc in Computer Science from the same university, studying from 2008 to 2010. Bart's educational journey culminated in their attainment of a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto, where they completed their studies from 2013 to 2019.
