Chris Nicol is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently working at SMART Technologies since July 2010, where responsibilities include developing hardware for DViT interactive whiteboards and educational devices as part of a cross-functional team. Previous roles include Firmware Engineer at the same company, where firmware for educational devices was developed, and Electronics Contractor at Science Alberta Foundation, focusing on electronics design for educational tools. Chris Nicol also served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Calgary, supporting student labs and grading, and worked as an Electronics Engineer at Grindcom, contributing to the development of control systems for forestry equipment. Educational qualifications include an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary and a B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology.
