Nijmeh Alsaadi, MD, currently serves as a General Surgery Resident at Johns Hopkins Hospital since July 2024. In addition, Nijmeh is actively involved as a Committee Member for the Association of Women Surgeons, contributing to the #HeForNijmeh Committee, the AWS 2023 Conference Planning Committee, and the Communications Committee's Instagram Subcommittee. Prior to this, Nijmeh worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine from September 2020 to June 2024. Experience also includes a Transitional Surgical Resident position at the King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center and an Intern Physician role at Istishari Hospital. Earlier, Nijmeh held various positions including Trainee at Farah Medical Campus and Chief Writer of the Publications Division for the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations. Academic qualifications include an MD from the University of Jordan and notable experiences at Harvard Medical School and Vanderbilt University School of Medicine.
