Amy Ruffner, CRME, currently serves as the General Manager of Royal Sonesta Chicago River North since September 2022 and is a member of Women Leading Travel & Hospitality. With extensive experience in hotel management, Ruffner previously held positions as General Manager and Assistant General Manager in the Urban and Lifestyle Division at White Lodging Services, overseeing operations for multiple hotels. Additional roles include Director of Operations at Q-BBQ Restaurant Group, Director of Food & Beverage at Crescent Hotels & Resorts, and various management positions at Starwood Hotels & Resorts and Hyatt Regency. Ruffner holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University Bloomington and is set to complete the Certified Revenue Management Executive program from HSMAI NYU in March 2024.
