WCM is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1995. Our initiatives aim to amplify a diverse talent pool, build the industry’s equity literacy, and unite firms to drive change on an industry level. We do this through events, programming and research & advocacy. 
 
Our partners include the major Canadian bank-owned dealers, independent and foreign dealers, asset managers, insurance firms, major pension plans, and advisory firms. Our community of nearly 4,000 professional and student members makes WCM the largest network of professionals in Canadian finance who have come together to vote for increased equity, diversity and inclusion, and our initiatives have impacted the careers of countless students and professionals across the country.

The Campus Ambassadors team at WCM is dedicated to fostering a culture of equity, diversity, and inclusion within academic institutions and the finance industry. They engage students through outreach, networking events, and educational programming, serving as a bridge between WCM's initiatives and the next generation of finance professionals. By promoting WCM's mission on campuses, they help to cultivate a diverse talent pipeline and empower students to pursue careers in capital markets.

Campus Ambassadors

The Event Management team at WCM is responsible for designing and executing a variety of impactful events and programming that foster equity, diversity, and inclusion within the finance industry. This team collaborates closely with stakeholders to curate professional development opportunities, student engagement initiatives, and community-building activities that enhance networking and advocacy efforts for WCM’s diverse member base. Through their efforts, they aim to elevate industry standards and support the career advancement of underrepresented professionals in finance.
