Kyle Vega is an experienced Health and Safety Engineer at Wolfspeed since January 2020, also serving as a Senior Emergency Response Team Specialist. With a background in emergency management, Kyle has held multiple leadership roles within the US Air Force Reserve, including Fire Chief and Deputy Fire Chief for the 916th Civil Engineer Flight, and has contributed as a Lead Emergency Response Specialist. Prior roles include Master Firefighter for the Town of Chapel Hill, Emergency Response Team Specialist at Cree, and Tactical Aircraft Maintenance Journeyman in the USAF. Kyle's educational credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Applied Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and degrees in Applied Science of Fire Science and Fire Fighting from the Community College of the Air Force and the Louis F. Garland Department of Defense Fire Academy, respectively.
