Sean Cheren has extensive experience in software engineering, currently serving as a Manager at Wolfram since February 2016. In this role, responsibilities include language design and architecture, writing production-quality software in C, C++, and Wolfram Language, and managing the development of various data formats while implementing extensive benchmarking and performance improvements. Prior to this, Sean worked as a Software Engineer focused on Import/Export at Wolfram. Sean also gained valuable teaching experience as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Minnesota from January 2012 to May 2015, where guidance was provided to students, and course material was developed. Sean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Minnesota, earned in 2015.
