Jennifer Micci is the current Director of Billing and Collections at Wolcott, Wood and Taylor. Jennifer has over ten years of experience in medical billing and collections, with a focus on insurance revenue cycles. Jennifer began their career in medical billing at ProMD Practice Management in 2009, where they quickly rose to the position of Revenue Cycle Manager. In this role, they oversaw the entire billing department and was responsible for maximizing reimbursement and reducing write-offs. From 2014 to 2015, Jennifer served as Revenue Cycle Manager at Digestive Medicine Associates. In this role, they were responsible for analyzing reimbursement procedures, developing agendas for A/R feedback, and identifying trends in errors and potential areas for improvement. In 2015, Jennifer joined Healthcare Financial Systems, Inc. (HFS) as a Revenue Cycle Project Director. In this role, they oversaw a team of revenue cycle specialists and was responsible for ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections. Jennifer left HFS in 2019 to join Boncura Health Solutions as an Insurance Revenue Cycle Manager. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the insurance billing process and ensuring maximum reimbursement. Jennifer left Boncura Health Solutions in August 2019 to join Wolcott, Wood and Taylor as their Director of Billing and Collections.
