Rob Campbell has extensive work experience in various IT roles. Rob started their career as an IT Graduate Trainee at Cleanaway Ltd. and then worked as an AS/400 Analyst Programmer. Rob later became a PC Analyst, where they played a crucial role in setting up IT services for the introduction of PC workstations and LAN networks at Cleanaway Ltd.
Campbell then moved on to become a Senior Analyst, where they managed business and functional requirements and worked closely with senior business stakeholders. Rob then became an IT Development Manager, responsible for managing the inhouse development team and external development teams, and also worked on enterprise and solution architecture.
After working at Cleanaway Ltd., Campbell joined Veolia Environmental Services UK as an IT Development Manager. In this role, they led Agile teams, managed analysis, development, and test resources, and was involved in AGILE release and sprint planning. Rob later became a Senior Solutions Architect, providing costed solution concepts and designs for key strategic IT investments.
Campbell then joined MUFG, where they held multiple roles. Firstly, they worked as a Software Development Team Lead, managing a Microsoft Technologies development team. Later, they became a Software Development Manager, responsible for implementing and managing integrated development teams and transitioning from waterfall to Scrum methods. Finally, they worked as a Product Manager in Corporate & Investment Banking, recruiting and leading product teams to deliver high-quality software products within the required budgets and timelines.
Most recently, Campbell joined WNS Assistance as the Head of IT.
Rob Campbell obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Business from Ulster University between 1984 and 1989. Prior to that, they attended Bishop's Stortford Boys High School from 1982 to 1984, where they earned three A Levels in Computer Science, Economics, and Geography. Rob also attended the same high school from 1977 to 1982 and obtained seven O Levels. In addition to their formal education, Rob Campbell obtained the ITIL 3.0 Foundation certification from BCS in March 2011.
