Mercedes Oliver has a diverse work experience in various roles within the creative industry. Mercedes started their career as a Video Production Intern at the BIG EAST Conference in 2015. Mercedes then worked as a Video Journalist at Xavier University until January 2017. Following that, Mercedes joined the Pittsburgh Riverhounds as a Videographer/Photographer for a few months.

In 2016, they worked as a Graduate Assistant at Duquesne University while also freelancing as a Graphic Designer at SugarCreek. The following year, they joined Duquesne Women's Basketball as a Content Developer for a year.

In 2019, Mercedes became the Creative Director at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where they held the position until April 2021. Mercedes then joined WME (William Morris Endeavor) as a Graphic Designer. Currently, they are working as a Photographer for the National Basketball Association (NBA) since November 2021.

Overall, Mercedes Oliver has gained extensive experience in graphic design, video production, photography, and creative direction throughout their career.

Mercedes Oliver completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Electronic Media from Xavier University in the years 2012 to 2016. Subsequently, they pursued a Master's of Science degree in Digital Communication and Media/Multimedia at Duquesne University from 2016 to 2018.
