Raj Yata is a Civil Project Engineer at WM New Zealand since September 2022, overseeing landfill construction projects from inception to completion, focusing on budget management and CAPEX approvals. Previously, Raj served as an Intermediate Engineer at the Natural Hazards Commission Toka TÅ« Ake from April 2018 to August 2022, conducting forensic structural assessments and coordinating repairs for earthquake-damaged properties. Raj gained experience as a Structural Engineer at Fletcher Construction between September 2015 and March 2018, performing seismic assessments and managing rebuilds. Early career experience includes a role as Site Engineer at Bhagyanagar Infrastructures Pvt Ltd., managing residential construction projects. Raj holds a Graduate Diploma in Project Management from Ara Institute of Canterbury and a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
