Jonah Weintraub is an experienced sports commentator and multimedia professional currently involved with WAER as part of the Sports Desk, assisting on game days for Syracuse University teams and writing weekly sports rundowns for Syracuse's local NPR station. Additionally, Jonah serves on the Sports Staff at WJPZ Radio, covering Syracuse University Women's Basketball and local high school football. Previous roles include Play-by-Play Commentator and Media Relations Intern for Green Bay Rockers Baseball Club, Play-by-Play Commentator and Broadcast Director for Queen City Corndogs, Web Editor for Mixtape Magazine, and Columnist for The Daily Orange. Jonah also interned with WBTV in Charlotte, contributing to multimedia content development. Education at S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University is ongoing, following a background at Providence Day School.
