Daniel Nguyen

Senior Product Designer at Wizards of the Coast

Daniel Nguyen has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Daniel started their career as a Driving Instructor at SWERVE Driving School in 2011. Daniel then worked as an Office Assistant & Warehouse Clerk at OraHealth Corporation in 2012, where they assisted with production, distribution, and marketing tasks. In the same year, they joined AllTreatment.com as an Editorial and SEO Intern, where they organized campaigns and created content.

In 2013, Daniel worked as a Marketing/Editorial Intern at AIM Consulting Group. Later that year, they joined CDK Digital Marketing (formerly Cobalt Automotive Marketing) as an SEO Specialist, responsible for content creation and optimization. At DOMOS HME Consulting in 2014, Daniel served as a Claims Resolution Specialist.

In 2015, they worked at Microsoft as a Search Engine Marketing Specialist. From 2016 to 2018, Daniel worked as an Account Manager at Avvo. Daniel then joined UW Medicine in 2018 as a Digital & Email Marketing Specialist, and later became a Web Producer in 2019.

In 2020, Daniel joined Wizards of the Coast and held various roles. Starting as an Associate Web Manager, they assisted with web platform migration and managed web properties for Magic: the Gathering and other games. Daniel then became a Web Manager, responsible for building and managing web properties for Magic: the Gathering Arena. Currently, Daniel holds the position of Senior Product Designer, contributing to the design and development of products at Wizards of the Coast.

Daniel Nguyen completed a FullStack Development in JavaScript program at Code Fellows from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they attended the University of Washington from 2004 to 2011 and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Language and Literature. In addition to their formal education, Daniel obtained the Google Analytics Individual Qualification from Google in April 2018 and became a Bing Ads Accredited Professional through Microsoft in April 2015.
